Of the 491 manufacturing use cases in the MetroMinds Library, 196 score 1 or 2 on feasibility. That is 40 percent, against 27 percent for the Library as a whole, and it holds in all six manufacturing sectors.
Why it matters
The hard ideas are not the weak ones: two thirds of them (130 of 196) score 4 or 5 on business value. They look attractive in a workshop and stall in delivery, because the difficulty sits in the decision rather than in the data.
What you can do
Score every idea on feasibility as well as value before the shortlist is final, and name the owner of every decision the AI supports. Balance a few strategic bets with easier ideas that build skills, trust and evidence. The full article shows how.
